Over $5,000 Sponsorships
Arts Projects sponsored in this category involve "one off" special events such as touring activity, performing and visual arts presentations, regional festivals, community and multi-arts activities, exhibitions and other significant cultural events which contribute towards the development, community involvement and delivery of the Arts in WA. Applications must be received by Healthway a minimum of four calendar months prior to the commencement of the project.

Healthway offers a Multi Events and Annual Programs (MEAP) category of assistance for organisations wishing to apply for Arts sponsorships of $20,000 or more.
The next MEAP closing date for events occurring in 2010 will be 17 July 2009.

$5,000 or Less Sponsorships
Sponsorships are available to assist with conducting new or innovative community based projects and festivals that provide opportunities to promote health messages and have a primary arts or cultural focus. Applications must be received by Healthway a minimum of three calendar months prior to the commencement of the project.

Health In Schools Through the Arts (HISTA)
Schools can apply for up to $2,500 to undertake arts activities that explore the priority health areas of mental health (bullying, social isolation), nutrition (obesity) and/or physical activity. Projects must be designed using arts activities and specifically examine or address at least one priority health issue in a way that promotes positive changes amongst students. Applications must be received by Healthway a minimum of three calendar months prior to the commencement of the project.

Smarter Than Smoking Regional Arts Scholarships (RAS)
The Scholarship offers financial support to assist young and emerging artists based in regional WA to study, practice and develop their arts skills, beyond what is available locally. Applicants must be between 12 and 25 years of age at the time the application is submitted. The scholarship may cover more than one art form or cultural activity and must take place in WA. Applications must be received by Healthway a minimum of three calendar months prior to the commencement of the project.
