The aim of the Aboriginal Health project funding is to support small health promotion projects which specifically target Aboriginal people or communities. You can apply for up to $10,000 and projects should aim to:
- Increase individual knowledge and skills and change behaviour.
- Create community and organisational policies and environments to improve health.
The guidelines for Aboriginal Health projects provide an overview of our funding requirements and the request process. Requests must be received at Healthway at least five (5) calendar months prior to the commencement of the project.
Please contact the health promotion team to discuss your project prior to developing an application.
