Government priorities

The State Government’s Our Priorities: Sharing Prosperity is a whole-of-government goal to deliver better outcomes for all Western Australians. Our work contributes to two of these goals, helping to create a healthier Western Australia together.

A Bright Future

  • Improve the health and wellbeing of children in the early years
  • Increase student reading and numeracy
  • Increase participation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

A Safer Community

  • Reduce illicit drug use
  • Reduce youth reoffending
